At Little Busy Bees, we are a trusted daycare and preschool in Gilroy, California, providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children from infancy through 12 years old. Our goal is to support every child’s growth while giving families peace of mind knowing their children are cared for by a dedicated and experienced team.
We proudly serve families throughout Gilroy and the surrounding South Santa Clara County area, offering high-quality early childhood education in a warm and welcoming setting.
Our Philosophy
Our program is built around a play-based learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Children learn best when they feel safe, respected, and supported, which is why our classrooms are designed to foster exploration while maintaining structure and consistency.

"My husband and I work first responder jobs and see some pretty messed up stuff. That being said, we won’t trust anyone with our kids except Liz. She is the only one we can trust when it comes to ABC/123 learning, eating well rounded meals, all the way down to potty training. She keeps you updated regularly on the day and the activities the kids are doing. She sends pictures throughout the day which helps me feel better when I’m working long hours to know my babies are ok and having fun. This was so helpful especially on their first day when they were away from me. She plans fun activities around the holidays with Santa or costume day for Halloween. Even keeps it fresh with fun movie days and games.
We started with her when my 1st grader was just 2 years old and was supportive and flexible along the entire way. He has a split home, and with that comes with mixed emotions for him. She helped guide him through how to handle these emotions when he’s upset and express them in a healthy way. He’s now confident in his learning capabilities and makes friends effortlessly. She also helped get him ready for TK academically and was ahead of the game when he started school.
When we had our now 3 year old she took him when he was just 3 months old. Due to schedule changes shortly after, we were able to keep him home but he’s now a year away from TK and started back up with her. He’s grown into a pretty stubborn boy but he feels safe with her and he’s learning so much. He’s talking so much more and will even attempt potty training, which has been a struggle at home. We have 3 other littles behind him and we plan to attend Little Busy Bees with the rest of them. Liz is simply the best there is."

She has even started potty training our 18-month-old, and thanks to her consistency and patience, we’ve been successful both at school and at home.
Liz also goes above and beyond to keep us connected throughout the day. She sends updates, pictures, and videos that make me feel like I’m right there with them, even when I’m at work. On top of that, she provides healthy, nutritious meals (one less thing for me to worry about)!

Ms. Liz is a caring and highly experienced early childhood educator with over 24 years of experience working with young children and families. She brings a deep understanding of early childhood development, with a strong focus on interactive, play-based learning that supports each child’s natural curiosity and love of exploration.
Throughout her career, Ms. Liz has been dedicated to creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that help children build confidence, independence, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. Her teaching approach emphasizes hands-on experiences that nurture creativity while supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Ms. Liz has also served as a preschool center director for 18 years, providing strong leadership, mentorship, and guidance to both educators and families. She is passionate about creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where children feel supported and valued every day.
Her commitment to early childhood education is rooted in a belief that strong foundations in the early years lead to lifelong learning success. Ms. Liz is proud to partner with families to help children develop essential social and emotional skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.
